BEIRUT CONTEMPORARY BALLET
Here's one of my dearest projects. Getting the opportunity to visually translate the vision and art of Beirut Contemporary Ballet was soulfully pleasing.
The name Beirut Contemporary Ballet was chosen to reflect the group's practice that swings between the classical and the more contemporary fundamentals of dance; and their ambition to build a full-time professional dance company in Beirut.
The Arabic logotype is inspired from traditional "Kufi" scripts yet with a contemporary twist with the letters' dots.
The dots themselves represent diversity of the dance group; some are paired while others are solo.
The logo was animated in a way to represent a choreography of the dots clustering and aligning in place to reveal the company name.
